Sherbond's experience
in the removal of unwanted occupiers is second to
none. The Authorised High Court Enforcement Officers
who head up Sherbond's management team have over
75 years of experience in handling evictions at
all levels. They have developed their own national
eviction team of fellow professionals who are dual
trained both as enforcement and security officers.
This means when planning an eviction, the assignment
is managed from start to finish with experience
and discretion.
Using Sherbond's experience in the planning stages
of a project, whether it be to take back possession
of an entrenched squat, remove eco-warriors from
open land, or dismantle an unauthorised traveller
encampment, means that our clients are receiving
the UK's No 1 response to an eviction problem.
Sherbond prides itself on working to policing standards
in carrying out high profile and/or large scale
evictions under its Platinum Service. Indeed the
police themselves become our partners in delivering
back possession of land where trespassers refuse
to leave.
The Sherbond team has the skill and ingenuity to
remove trespassers who have built tree houses, dug
tunnels, locked on to a position or who have generally
put themselves and those around them in a position
of jeopardy.
Whilst to the client these problems seem overwhelming,
the Sherbond team approaches the problem in hand
with both experience and a determination to deliver
back possession to the client using the highest
standards of safety and without unnecessary cost
being incurred. Sherbond carries significant professional
indemnity insurance and public liability insurance.
Its Health & Safety Policy has been developed
in accordance with the Institute of Occupational
Safety and Health and a Chartered Fellow of the
Institution is a member of the Sherbond team.
Sherbond also has access to specialist contractors
for working at height, and in confined spaces, as
well as on waterways – all of which present
significant risks and which must be anticipated
in the eviction of any trespasser.
Clients who want to take advantage of our planning
and consultancy services can do so at an early stage
in the possession process, so that we can offer
recommendations on how to reduce risk and reduce
the cost of eviction. We encourage clients to utilise
this service before a site has even been occupied
so that risks are identified and removed as early
as possible to reduce the likelihood of trespassers
becoming entrenched.
