Our Procedure - Commercial Rent Distraint:

The use of Distraint for the recovery of Commercial Rent Arrears does not require Court proceedings, all that is required is for the landlord to instruct a Certificated Bailiff as soon as the rent has fallen due and is in arrears.

A Sherbond Certificated Bailiff will attend the tenants property and if payment is not made we will remove goods to auction if necessary. A Distraint is made on goods on the premises.

If the tenant requires a short period of time to pay the Bailiff the tenant will enter in to a Walking Possession agreement for 5 days, this may be extended by agreement of the client.

Tenant pays rent arrears & costs immediately .

Sherbond attend the tenants property to remove goods using its National Removal Contractor and take goods to one of its National panel of auctioneers.
