What can I do about my rent arrears?

Where a landlord rents commercial property to a tenant the landlord has the remedy to instruct a Certificated Bailiff to recover the rent arrears by distraining on the goods of the tenant.


Do I have to go through the courts to collect my rent?

A landlord does not need to take court proceedings to recover rent arrears on commercial rent. Certificated Bailiffs will attend the tenants premises to distrain on goods if payment is not made the goods will be rmoved to one of our nationwide panel of auctioneers.
