A landlord has the right to forfeit a lease between him/her where the terms of the lease allow this action to be taken.
Peaceful Re-entry to Commercial Property
Also known as (Forfeiture)
Landlord does not have to take action in the court.
Landlord can instruct sherbond using our on-line
instruction forms or download and fax
completed instruction.
Sherbond Enforcement Officer attends property with locksmiths and peaceably re-enter property and give possession to landlord.
Tenant may apply to the court for relief
from the forfeiture. This normally requires the tenant to pay all costs into court.
